Launched in 2010, Full Moon Saturdays at Stonywood is a backyard concert series running from May through October each year. Performances are at the home of Garth Garrett and Trisha Jauchler--Stonywood--in Pasadena, CA. We invite an eclectic array of musicians to perform in our beautiful backyard under the shade of a magnificent Live Oak tree we have named "The Old Grandfather." With the accompanying chorus of birds, flowers, a meditation garden, a memorable experience is shared!
Mailani is known for her great storytelling and haku mele (the art of composing Hawaiian poetry) as she weaves words into songs & chants that preserve history, genealogy, culture & emotion, functioning as living libraries of ancestral knowledge.
